Job summary

Maverik is seeking an Assistant Manager (Operations) to lead daily store operations and coach Team Members, delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will help drive a culture of service, teamwork, and accountability while cross-training between Food Service and Front-of-Store.

Starting pay ranges from $18.50 to $20.50 per hour for a full-time role in a 24/7 environment, with opportunities for growth and advancement within Maverik.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Calm and composed under pressure with strong problem solving.
• 1 year+ supervisory experience preferred.

Assistant Manager (Operations)

Shift: This is a full-time opportunity. This position will be cross-trained between Food Service and Front-of-Store.

• Effective Problem Solving: Possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to recognize and analyze an issue while creating effective solutions.
• Experience: 1 year+ of supervisory experience (preferred).
• Food Safety Certification: Must obtain and maintain the food safety certification required by the applicable state or local jurisdiction.

Physical Requirements:

• This position involves frequent standing, walking, handling, and horizontal reaching. It also requires reaching above shoulder level and below the waist, as well as activities such as bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, and pushing. The role may involve lifting, carrying, or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work safely with equipment that generates and maintains high temperatures, while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
