Overview of the Assistant Manager, OMNI Operations role

You will drive incremental sales and ensure profitability through effective management of in-store order fulfillment via Omni channels. You will support the management team in achieving goals by providing World-Class service, building relationships with guests, and maintaining store supervision to ensure proper staff coverage.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead customer fulfillment across all channels, including order pick-up, outgoing shipment, unpaid hold management, home delivery, and installation.
  2. Identify, execute, and maintain shipping lanes in the stockroom, utilizing additional tables, carts, or racks as needed.
  3. Ensure effective stockroom organization and supplies to maximize efficiency, safety, and productivity.
  4. Perform regular audits and reconciliations to prevent shrink and ensure accuracy.
  5. Champion safety practices by hosting safety meetings, maintaining tools and resources, and ensuring staff safety training is completed.
  6. Create and foster a positive environment where all associates are treated with fairness and dignity, aligned with our People-First Philosophy.
Criteria
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to identify challenges and develop timely action plans.
  • Effective time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to independently lead and motivate others to achieve results.
  • 2-3 years of retail sales or management experience in a customer service environment; omni-channel fulfillment experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and mobilize items up to 75 lbs., using proper equipment and safety techniques.
  • Full-time associates should have open availability; part-time associates must work at least 15 hours weekly, including weekends and during holiday seasons.
