SmartStop Self Storage in Cary, NC is hiring an Assistant Store Manager (Store #6002) to oversee leasing, supervise a team, and coordinate maintenance while delivering excellent tenant service. Hours are Mon–Fri 9:30 am to 6:00 pm; Sat 9:00 am - 4:00 pm; Sun 10:00 am - 2:00 pm, with no nights.

Starting wage is $16.50 per hour plus a bonus. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, 401(k) matching, life and disability insurance, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and sales orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adaptable and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental agreements
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities
• Clean vacated units and general cleaning of the property
• Promote and sell self-storage solutions to potential customers
• Light maintenance
• Maintain knowledge of all products and services
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance
• The position requires a background check
• Other duties as assigned by the Company
