Job summary

SmartStop Self Storage is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for Store #6041 in Xenia, OH. The role oversees leasing storage and parking, supervises a team, and supports maintenance and on-site projects to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate provides excellent customer service, can work independently within a team, and embraces change. Hours Mon–Fri 9:30am–6:00pm, Sat 9:00am–4:00pm, Sun 10:00am–2:00pm with no nights and earnings starting at $16.50/hour plus bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing storage and parking, supervising on-site projects and teams.
• Ability to maintain good tenant relationships and handle transactions.
• Requires reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License and current auto insurance; background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental agreements.
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities.
• Cleaning of vacated units and general cleaning of the property.
• Promotes and sells self-storage solutions to potential customers.
• Light maintenance and knowledge of all products and services.
• Work with tenants and maintain on-site relationships.
• Meet safety and security expectations for the site.

Assistant Store Manager (Store #6041 - Xenia, OH) Job Summary - NO NIGHTS!

The right candidate pays attention to details, stays organized, and delights in finding great solutions to problems. This position is involved in all phases of the operation, including leasing storage and parking, managing a team, assisting with maintenance, supervising on-site projects, and maintaining good relationships with tenants.

Hours of Operation: Mon - Fri 9:30am to 6:00pm; Sat 9:00am - 4:00pm; Sun 10:00am - 2:00pm

Starting at $16.50/hour + Bonus

What You'll Do:
