SmartStop Self Storage in Warren, MI invites a motivated Assistant Store Manager to join Store #6026. You will handle leasing, transactions, and daily operations, with an emphasis on exceptional customer service and team supervision.

This role features daytime hours (Mon-Fri 9:30-6, Sat 9-4, Sun 10-2) and a starting wage of $16.50 per hour plus a monthly bonus. Travel within the district is required; drive time and mileage are paid.

Assistant Store Manager (Store #6026 - Warren, MI) Job Summary - NO NIGHTS!

The right candidate pays attention to details, stays organized, and delights in finding great solutions to problems. This position is involved in all phases of the operation, including leasing storage and parking, managing a team, assisting with maintenance, supervising on-site projects, and maintaining good relationships with tenants.

Hours of Operation: Mon - Fri 9:30am to 6:00pm; Sat 9:00am - 4:00pm; Sun 10:00am - 2:00pm

Starting at $16.50/hour + Bonus

What You'll Do:

• Prepare rental agreements
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities
• Cleaning of vacated units and general cleaning of the property
• Promotes and sells self-storage solutions to potential customers
• Light maintenance
• Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance
• Required to travel within the district for coverage. Areas include Troy and Sterling Heights. Drive time and mileage is paid.
• The position requires a background check
• Other duties as assigned by the Company
