Job summary

SmartStop Self Storage in Apopka, FL is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (Store #8607) to supervise daily operations, lease units, lead the on-site team, and coordinate maintenance while fostering strong tenant relationships.

The role starts at $17.00/hour plus a monthly bonus, with hours Mon–Fri 9:30am–6:00pm, Sat 9:00am–4:00pm, Sun 10:00am–2:00pm, and a benefits package including health insurance, PTO, and 401(k).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell self-storage solutions to potential customers.
• Perform light maintenance and basic repairs.
• Maintain knowledge of all products and services offered.
• Background check is required for employment.
• Other duties as assigned by the Company.

Assistant Store Manager (Store #8607 - Apopka, FL) Job Summary - NO NIGHTS!

The right candidate pays attention to details, stays organized, and delights in finding great solutions to problems. This position is involved in all phases of the operation, including leasing storage and parking, managing a team, assisting with maintenance, supervising on-site projects, and maintaining good relationships with tenants.

Hours of Operation

Mon - Fri 9:30 am to 6:00 pm; Sat 9:00 am - 4:00 pm; Sun 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Starting at $17.00/hour + Bonus

What You'll Do

• Prepare rental agreements
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities
• Cleaning of vacated units and general cleaning of the property
• Promotes and sells self-storage solutions to potential customers
• Light maintenance
• Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver's License, and current auto insurance
• The position requires a background check
• Other duties as assigned by the Company
