SmartStop Self Storage in Santa Clara, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, supervise staff, and drive exceptional tenant service. The role involves leasing storage, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring smooth on-site projects while maintaining strong relationships with tenants.

Hours are Mon–Fri, with no nights, and starting pay ranges from $23 to $25 per hour plus bonuses.

Qualifications

• Experience in leasing storage or retail environments is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental agreements and process transactions.
• Manage on-site team and coordinate maintenance or projects.
• Maintain tenant relationships and deliver great customer service.
• Assist with property operations and ensure smooth daily processes.
• Support with leasing activities and property promotions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Assistant Store Manager (Store #1436 - Santa Clara, CA) Job Summary - NO NIGHTS!

The right candidate pays attention to details, stays organized, and delights in finding great solutions to problems. This position is involved in all phases of the operation, including leasing storage and parking, managing a team, assisting with maintenance, supervising on-site projects, and maintaining good relationships with tenants.

Hours of Operation: Mon - Fri 9:30am to 6:00pm; Sat 9:00am - 4:00pm; Sun 10:00am - 2:00pm

Starting at $23-25/hour + Bonus

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare rental agreements
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities
• Cleaning of vacated units and general cleaning of the property
• Promotes and sells self-storage solutions to potential customers
• Light maintenance
• Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance
• The position requires a background check
• Other duties as assigned by the Company
