Job summary

SmartStop Self Storage in Conroe, TX is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily operations, lease units, and supervise the on-site team. You will assist with maintenance, coordinate projects, and maintain excellent tenant relationships. Hours are Mon-Fri 9:30am–6:00pm, Sat 9:00am–4:00pm, Sun 10:00am–2:00pm.

Starting wage is $16.50/hour plus bonus. Reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, and a background check are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and sales of storage units is preferred.
• Ability to manage a team and coordinate on-site operations.
• Strong communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Rent storage units and prepare rental agreements.
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities.
• Manage on-site maintenance and tenant relations.
• Lead a small team and ensure operations run smoothly.
• Adhere to hours of operation and store policies.

Assistant Store Manager (Store #4015 - Conroe, TX) Job Summary - NO NIGHTS!

The right candidate pays attention to details, stays organized, and delights in finding great solutions to problems. This position is involved in all phases of the operation, including leasing storage and parking, managing a team, assisting with maintenance, supervising on-site projects, and maintaining good relationships with tenants.

Hours of Operation: Mon - Fri 9:30am to 6:00pm; Sat 9:00am - 4:00pm; Sun 10:00am - 2:00pm

Starting at $16.50/hour + Bonus

What You’ll Do:

• Rent storage units
• Prepare rental agreements
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities
• Cleaning of vacated units and general cleaning of the property
• Promotes and sells self-storage solutions to potential customers
• Light maintenance
• Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services
• Maintain general curb appeal
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance
• The position requires a background check
• Other duties as assigned by the Company
