Job summary

SmartStop Self Storage, Inc. in Nottingham, MD is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for Store #6060. The successful candidate will lease storage units, supervise a small on-site team, handle transactions, and maintain a clean, welcoming property while delivering excellent customer service.

Hours are Mon–Fri 9:30 am–6:00 pm, Sat 9:00 am–4:00 pm, Sun 10:00 am–2:00 pm with no night shifts. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour plus a monthly bonus; benefits include health insurance, PTO, 401(k)

Qualifications

• Enjoys providing exceptional customer service while effectively selling the rental experience.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adaptable to change with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental agreements.
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities.
• Clean vacated units and perform general cleaning of the property.
• Promote and sell self-storage solutions to potential customers.
• Light maintenance and knowledge of products/services.
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.
• Background check is required.
• Other duties as assigned by the Company.

Assistant Store Manager (Store #6060 Nottingham, MD) Job Summary - NO NIGHTS!

The right candidate pays attention to details, stays organized, and delights in finding great solutions to problems. This position is involved in all phases of the operation, including leasing storage and parking, managing a team, assisting with maintenance, supervising on-site projects, and maintaining good relationships with tenants.

Hours of Operation:

Mon - Fri 9:30 am to 6:00 pm; Sat 9:00 am - 4:00 pm; Sun 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Starting at $17.00/hour + Bonus

What You’ll Do:
