SmartStop® Self Storage in Hayward, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, lease units, supervise a small on-site team, and ensure an outstanding customer experience. The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Hours are Mon–Sat 9:00am–6:00pm with starting pay of $20.00/hour plus bonus; no nights. You will handle transactions, promote storage solutions, assist with maintenance, and build positive tenant relationships.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental agreements.
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities.
• Cleaning of vacated units and general cleaning of the property.
• Promotes and sells self-storage solutions to potential customers.
• Light maintenance
• Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services.
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver’s License, and current auto insurance.
• The position requires background check.
• Other duties as assigned by the Company.
