Serv-U-Success in Austintown, OH is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead teams, and ensure projects meet high standards.

You will partner with the Store Manager to deliver outstanding execution, coach team members, and help create a safe, organized, and customer-focused environment while traveling within the defined territory.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Two or more years of retail, grocery, merchandising, or customer service experience preferred.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to travel between locations as scheduled and assigned, both in the local pod and the wider region.
• Depending on the specific position, a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and a DMV check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations, including merchandising, product resets, remodels, and special projects.
• Lead assigned shifts and serve as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Coach, train, and motivate team members while reinforcing company standards and best practices.
• Monitor project progress and help ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
• Build positive relationships with customers, store leadership, and team members.
• Promote a culture of safety by modeling safe work practices and maintaining clean, organized work areas.
• Utilize company technology and reporting systems to support daily operations and project execution.

- Starting at $18.00/hr, up to $20.00/hr (based on experience), plus an additional $1/hr for FLEX premium and $1/hr for any hours worked between 8pm and 5am

- Full-Time, Night Shift: 9:00pm - 5:00am

What You'll Do:

• Lift and carry products weighing up to 30 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Safely move carts, fixtures, and merchandising equipment as needed.

Included Shift Premiums:

• $1/hr for FLEX
• $1/hr for any hours worked between 8pm and 5am
