Job Description

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for leading the store's day-to-day operations in the absence of the General Manager and supporting the General Manager in all aspects of store management. This includes reviewing business results, planning for improvement, ordering supplies, and ensuring all team members deliver exceptional customer service. Daily Duties

• Ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all customers.
• Resolve customer concerns, issues, and complaints efficiently.
• Implement and conduct hands-on training for Customer Service Associates.
• Supervise daily tasks and performance of store associates, including recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Delegate tasks and follow-up as necessary.
• Provide support, direction, motivation, and coaching to associates.
• Monitor and analyze business processes to achieve store goals profitably.
• Manage cash and lottery processes.
• Operate with integrity, honesty, and respect.
• Support the General Manager with ongoing tasks and assignments.

Requirements

• Experience in managing and directing teams.
• Minimum of 45 hours per week, with flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation.
• Exemplary customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Goal-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 35 lbs.
