Job description

Position Overview

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support a Market Leader or Campus Store Manager in overseeing store operations. Your responsibilities include driving sales growth, delivering brand and operational excellence, and ensuring an engaging customer service experience.

You will foster an environment of mentorship and continuous development for your team, monitor financial metrics and store performance, and assist with overall store operations. Responsibilities
  1. Supervise sales team activities, including scheduling, training, and ensuring adherence to policies and standards.
  2. Maintain proper merchandising, promotion standards, and create displays.
  3. Conduct onboarding for new hires.
  4. Greet customers, answer inquiries, resolve escalated issues, and promote a hassle-free customer service culture focused on solutions-based selling.
  5. Receive, verify, and unload orders as needed.
  6. Operate cash register and store computer, handle payments, and balance cash drawer.
  7. Stock shelves, take inventory, and perform store cleaning and organization tasks.
  8. Execute merchandising and promotion standards.
  9. Fill in for other personnel during breaks or peak periods, including register operations and departmental support.
  10. Serve as keyholder with opening and closing responsibilities.
  11. Handle cash deposits, reconcile cash drawers, manage accounts receivable, and prepare reports.
  12. Follow shrink prevention practices and maintain excellent customer service.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.
