Warby Parker is seeking a service-oriented Sales Manager to support a team of exceptional Retail Advisors in creating the best possible glasses-shopping experiences. As a Sales Manager, you'll engage with customers, have a hand in process ideation and improvement, and participate in various special projects. Responsibilities include communicating Warby Parker's values and brand philosophy to customers, troubleshooting the point-of-sale system, overseeing inventory management, developing new processes to improve customer service and shopping experience, managing daily zoning schedules, opening and closing the store, leading meetings, directing a team of 8–10 members, conducting biannual performance reviews, assisting with new hire onboarding and training, and cultivating an inclusive, service-minded work culture. Candidates should have 1+ year in a management position in retail, exceptional interpersonal skills, managerial experience in sales or operations at a complex, customer-focused retailer, entrepreneurial spirit, eagerness to learn, and a positive, empathetic team player attitude.
