Soma is looking for an Assistant Manager for our Shrewsbury, NJ store to support the Store Manager in leading a team and delivering a seamless customer experience. You will help create welcoming, personalized experiences that reflect Soma’s culture of hospitality.

You’ll drive team development, customer engagement, and community involvement while ensuring store operations meet brand standards. This role offers opportunities for growth within our intimate apparel brand.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Take ownership to achieve the financial goals of the store and motivate the team.
• Assist in the hiring, development, and coaching of associates.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment that reflects brand standards.
• Oversee store operations including inventory management and replenishment.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, guidelines, and business practices.
• Build community connections through in-store company-sponsored events and philanthropy.
