Job summary

Family Dollar in Worland, WY is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help with opening/closing, merchandising, scheduling, and loss prevention while maintaining a clean, inviting store environment.

This role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a customer-focused mindset; prior retail supervisory experience is preferred. Part-time position with opportunities for growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail store management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries.
• Organize merchandise and maintain seasonal displays.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process directives and maintain store records (scheduling, payroll, deposits).
• Support loss prevention and asset protection measures.
• Lead and train Store Associates, ensuring a positive environment.
• Keep store clean, stocked, and presentable; ensure safety protocols.
