Famous Footwear is seeking a full-time Assistant Store Manager in Pennsylvania to lead the store in the absence of the Store Manager, motivate a team, and deliver the best shoe store experience.

You will coach, interview and train associates, manage daily operations from pricing to inventory, apply insights to grow sales, and foster an inclusive, high-energy culture.

This role requires a HS diploma, at least 1 year of sales experience, and flexibility to work holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of sales experience, retail preferred.
• Experience in interviewing, hiring and training people.
• Ability to lead, motivate and communicate with store associates.
• Ability to train and develop associates for customer experience and tasks.
• Independent judgment when partnering with Store Manager.
• Strong cognitive skills: problem solving, decision making, financial analysis.
• Advanced knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
• Basic computer skills.
