JCPenney in Indianapolis is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in driving results and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will help lead a team, manage daily operations, and ensure the store looks its best while developing associates to sustain growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as a Co/Assistant Manager in similar volume apparel (preferred).
• Proven track record of exceeding sales and statistical expectations.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Partner with Store Manager to create action plans to grow the business.
• Understand and demonstrate product knowledge, selling and operational skills to maximize sales.
• Engage with customers to build relationships and brand loyalty using company tools.
• Develop team members who are committed to a great customer experience.
• Oversee assigned division and be accountable for results.
• Support store standards for merchandising and operations.
• Learn all aspects of the business and share ideas to drive the business.
• Remain composed during challenges and unforeseen circumstances.
• Perform POS transactions on designated shifts and assist in management in the absence of the Store Manager.
