Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Erwin, TN. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise flows smoothly from delivery to floor.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, adhering to corporate directives, maintaining promotions, and assisting in payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required to interpret directives and operate store processes.
• Store management experience in retail preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operations and functions.
• Help customers with questions in a friendly manner.
• Move merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Follow corporate directives and reporting processes.
• Maintain store displays and promotional fixtures.
• Assist in ordering, damages processing, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
