Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail/grocery/drug store preferred.
• Lift up to 55 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, and lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize, transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention.
• Maintain neat stockroom and sales floor per company standards.
• Protect store assets, including cash, and adhere to policies.
• Help supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Ensure store cleanliness including bathrooms and floors; handle trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
