Job summary

Family Dollar LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for Battle Mountain, NV to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and maintain clean, organized sales floors and stockrooms.

The role requires strong communication skills, high-energy teamwork, and the ability to supervise, train, and develop store associates while upholding company policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
