Summary

As an Assistant Manager / Key Carrier at Roses / Roses Express, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and supporting the Store Manager in the overall store operations to meet company goals.

Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Assist with hiring, training, and developing store team members as delegated by the Store Manager.
2. Support all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
3. Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
4. Help protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
5. Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
6. Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
7. Ensure all areas of the store, including the stockroom and sales floor, meet company standards, including recovery.
8. When the Store Manager is absent, assume supervisory responsibility for all hourly team members.
9. Process all corporate directives as required.
10. Assist with the receipt, return, and management of merchandise, including freight flow.
11. Meet or exceed productivity standards.
12. Support ordering and stocking merchandise needs and maintain stockroom organization.
13. Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily.
14. Implement directives from the Store Operations Weekly Bulletin.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, and transport merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs; capable of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
