Roses/Roses Express is seeking motivated individuals to support our stores by providing essential products at great values to the communities we serve.

Summary

As a Roses/Roses Express Assistant Manager/Key Carrier, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and supporting the Store Manager in the overall store operations to meet company goals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with hiring, training, and developing store team members as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Support all store functions and daily activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Follow all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional, friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Keep all store areas, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards, including recovery.
• When the Store Manager is absent, have supervisory responsibility for all hourly team members.
• Process all corporate directives and manage freight flow and merchandise receipt/return.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Assist with ordering, stocking, and organizing merchandise.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective daily and implement weekly directives.

Qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment with a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
