Position Purpose

Assistant Store Managers in Training learn the responsibilities of roles such as Assistant Store Manager, Operations Assistant Store Manager, Night Operations Assistant Store Manager, and Specialty Assistant Store Manager. They support the Store Manager in developing strategies to drive sales and profitability through effective leadership and communication with associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise customer service initiatives, including staffing, stock management, and store appearance.
  • Support associate supervision, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Oversee operations such as sales transactions, freight, and store equipment.
  • Analyze sales trends, plan merchandise, and support inventory management to enhance profitability.
Reporting and Travel

Report to a Store Manager. Travel is typically less than 10% overnight.

Physical and Working Conditions

Primarily indoor work, with occasional light lifting and movement.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the U.S.
