Key Responsibilities

Leadership Development & Team Support

• Work closely with the Store Manager and senior leaders to learn key management functions
• Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members
• Support staff supervision, providing daily guidance and helping to resolve frontline challenges
• Learn how to coach, motivate, and build strong, high‑performing teams

Store Operations & Policy Compliance

• Shadow the Store Manager to gain experience in managing daily operations
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and managing shift transitions
• Ensure store cleanliness, health & safety, and adherence to company policies and SOPs
• Participate in audits and ensure operational documentation is completed accurately

Customer Experience & Service Recovery

• Learn how to deliver outstanding customer experiences and resolve issues professionally
• Observe and contribute to maintaining a welcoming, well‑organized, and customer‑first environment
• Develop communication skills that help de‑escalate challenges and build lasting customer trust
• Assist in the execution of in‑store promotions and merchandising initiatives
• Learn how to analyze sales data, understand store KPIs, and suggest strategies for improvement
• Gain hands‑on experience in visual merchandising and product placement best practices
• Support inventory control efforts including receiving, restocking, and shrink prevention

Training & Development

• Completion of required Lessonly training modules
• Ongoing participation in workshops and brand education sessions to stay current on wellness trends and company initiatives
• Commitment to attendance, punctuality, team collaboration, and reliability

Other Duties

• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a retail environment, preferably with some leadership exposure
• Passion for health, wellness, and customer service
• A desire to grow into a long‑term leadership role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Proactive, adaptable, and solution‑oriented mindset
• Experience or interest in the natural health or grocery industry is an asset
• Comfort working on your feet and lifting up to 40 lbs
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Completion of required Lessonly training modules
