Job Description:

The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) is responsible for assisting the general manager with the management of day-to-day store operations, while adhering to Global Partner's policies and procedures.

“Gauges” of Responsibility
  • Complete daily accounting paperwork and transmit it by deadline.
  • Supervise, develop, train, and discipline non-exempt (hourly) employees, ensuring operational standards are upheld.
  • Monitor shift cash handling and inventory, assist in investigations of shortages/overages of $100 or less monthly, and inventory variations of 0.5% of sales or less.
  • Maintain business records, review cashier accountability sheets, and records assigned by the General Manager and/or Territory Manager.
  • Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative duties as requested, following all cash control policies.
  • Manage cash procedures, including deposits and change orders.
  • Maintain store standards according to Global Partner's image standards.
  • Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and store security and safety, reporting issues as needed.
  • Coordinate gasoline levels and deliveries.
  • Engage in promotional initiatives and promote high levels of guest service.
  • Perform other duties as required by company policies, procedures, and management.

Qualifications
  • Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Access to all store areas.
Education
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
