Jacksons is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager in Santa Cruz to support store operations and collaborate closely with the Store Manager. The role emphasizes leadership, customer service excellence, and the ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires open availability for a 24/7 operation, with duties spanning supervision, training, cash handling, and ensuring safety and cleanliness across the store and pump areas.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a fast-paced retail or food-service setting.
• 3+ months of customer service experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and greet customers.
• Assist in training and supervising team members.
• enforce company policy and procedures with the team.
• Promote store specials and suggest purchases to customers.
• Maintain sanitation, stock, and cleanliness of the store and fuel area.
• Manage cash register operations and deposits when needed.
• Respond to emergencies when the Store Manager is unavailable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
