Job summary

A regional convenience store operator is seeking experienced Assistant Managers in Jacksonville, Florida. The role involves working closely with the Store Manager in a full-time position, requiring flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, managing customer transactions, and ensuring excellent service while meeting compliance and safety standards. Qualified candidates should have prior leadership experience and be able to lift and carry loads as required.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to safely lift 55 lbs. and carry short distances.
• Able to withstand extreme temperatures for brief periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and process customer transactions.
• Supervise and assist store associates in daily operations.
• Create and submit daily store reports, monitor P&Ls.
• Maintain site appearance standards, including stocking product.
• Address employee grievances and disputes.

Skills

Leadership experience in a customer service environment

Excellent communication in English

Outgoing and friendly demeanor

Knowledge of inventory management software

Basic computer knowledge

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
