Job summary

The Assistant Store Manager at Skechers in Enfield, CT will support the Management Team in operations, lead a team, and ensure outstanding customer service. You’ll drive daily performance, manage inventory, and execute merchandising and sales strategies to boost store profitability.

You will mentor staff, maintain brand standards, oversee scheduling and store processes, and engage with customers to deliver Skechers’ signature comfort and value. Weekend and holiday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Retail leadership experience preferred but not required.
• Sales skills to drive revenue growth.
• Excellent communication skills in written and verbal form.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals and deliver great customer service.
• Visual Merchandising: maintain Skechers' standards for product displays and store layouts.
• Inventory Management: monitor stock levels and organize restocking.
• Operations Management: oversee scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and store operations.
• Sales Management: drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets.
• Problem-Solving: address customer concerns to maintain satisfaction.
