Role Overview

The Assistant Store Manager leads daily operations, sales, and customer service in a store, focusing on team leadership to foster customer relationships through personalized service and advice. The role requires decision-making with minimal supervision on the teller line or platform.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team to meet store goals and deliver exceptional customer and colleague experiences.
  2. Manage daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  3. Oversee complex sales and advice activities, utilizing broad product and financial knowledge.
  4. Drive advice capabilities through coaching and team development.
  5. Maintain market knowledge to support customer advice.
  6. Handle high-risk issues effectively.
  7. Coach and develop the team on advice strategies and product knowledge.
  8. Manage customer interactions, referrals, and community engagement.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years customer service or sales experience
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of banking products/services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Notary license and NMLS registration preferred
Customer & Shareholder Responsibilities

Ensure excellent customer service, team collaboration, operational compliance, and risk management.

Physical & Travel Requirements

Mostly sedentary with occasional travel, involving standard office activities.
