Our Assistant Store Managers are front-line brand ambassadors representing Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store, all part of CNG Holdings, Inc. Our Assistant Store Managers embody the company’s values and ethics in support of our mission. They are responsible for ensuring outstanding customer service and regulatory compliance.

Job Description

Essential Duties:

  • Serve and educate customers on our product portfolio, presenting all options that meet their needs.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the store manager, District Director of Operations (DDO), or corporate office.
  • Answer inquiries via telephone regarding questions, applications, or requests.
  • Make outbound calls for sales, courtesy, and collections following regulations and store expectations.
  • Respond professionally to customer inquiries, explaining solutions and ensuring support.
  • Handle cash, manage cash drawers, and perform bank deposits as required.
  • Balance daily sales reports and resolve discrepancies.
  • Verify customer information during transactions.
  • Process transactions accurately, including loans, check cashing, and Net Spend.
  • Adhere to federal and state regulations, company policies, and complete required trainings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year experience in sales, customer service, or cash handling preferred.
  • Strong communication and active listening skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance.

Physical Demands:

  • Work in retail/office environment with extensive cash handling.
  • Extended periods of standing, computer use, and phone usage.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with accommodations.

Travel / Attendance:

  • Travel to stores within the district using personal vehicle.
  • Potential overnight travel and travel to neighboring districts.
  • Work scheduled shifts as assigned.
