Generate Sales
- Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service.
- Meet or exceed Company Objectives in all individual statistics.
- Provide consistent, documented appraisals of associate sales performance. Offer feedback on strengths and opportunities, aligning with Company Objectives.
- Adhere to visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the Company Dress Code Policy.
Control Expenses
- Protect Company assets within LIDS Retail policies.
- Assist in preparing store work schedules ensuring proper coverage and wage control.
- Manage store inventory accurately, including receiving, transferring, pricing, and conducting product counts.
- Perform timely and consistent product counts.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping per policies and legal requirements.
- Open and close the store following procedures outlined in the Operations P&P Manual.
Supervise Associates
- Act as Store Manager on duty during absences for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc.
- Manage store associates through training, goal setting, and follow-up in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Administer disciplinary actions as needed.
- Schedule and staff the store, including calling in associates during unexpected peaks.
- Participate in training programs, set goals, and follow up regularly.
- Assist in recruiting and training store personnel.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including inventory and property safety.
- Perform duties of subordinates when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Required Knowledge & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relevant experience.
- Ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in operating computers and software programs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and work with hands overhead.
- Stand for up to 100% of work time.
- Ability to work independently.
Preferred Job Knowledge & Skills
