General Description
- Generate sales by providing excellent customer service.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Control Expenses
- Protect company assets within LIDS retail policies.
- Assist in preparing store work schedules to ensure proper coverage and wage control.
- Manage store inventory accurately, including receiving, transferring, pricing, and conducting product counts.
- Complete timely and accurate product counts.
- Maintain proper documentation and record keeping per policies and legal requirements.
- Open and close the store following operational procedures.
Additional Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise Associates
- Act as Store Manager on duty during scheduling issues or customer complaints when the manager is absent.
- Manage store associates through training, goal setting, and follow-up in the manager's absence.
- Administer disciplinary actions as needed.
- Handle scheduling and staffing, including calling in associates during peak times.
- Participate in training programs and adhere to set goals.
- Assist in recruiting and training store personnel.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safeguard inventory and property.
- Perform subordinate tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the company.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Required Knowledge & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to generate sales results while minimizing loss.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in operating computers and relevant software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and work with hands overhead.
- Standing required for up to 100% of the work time.
- Ability to work independently.
Education
High School Graduate or Equivalent
