Job summary

Tractor Supply is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver Legendary Service. You will lead front-end, opening/closing routines, and customer engagement while supporting the Store Manager on performance and compliance.

This role requires retail leadership, reliability, and the ability to read, write, and count accurately. A high school diploma is required, with a preference for a Bachelor’s in business and knowledge in farming, ranching,

Qualifications

Previous retail leadership experience is required.
Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Work scheduled shifts with varied hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
Uphold a safe and productive work environment by following policies and procedures.
Deliver Legendary Service and coach team members for execution.
Assist Store Manager with store operations, driving sales and planning tasks.
Lead customer loyalty efforts and provide product knowledge across the store.
Support hiring, training, and policy application.
Perform opening/closing procedures and cash handling oversight.
