As a full-time Assistant Store Manager, you will be passionate about providing the best shoe store experience through customer engagement. You will act as the store leader in the absence of the Store Manager, motivating your team to meet sales targets and growth goals. You will support an in-store culture where customers feel valued and loyal to our store, brands, and company. Staying updated on trends and supporting team education are key, along with a love for shoes and creating the Famous Feeling for every customer.

What You’ll Be Doing
  1. Inspire the Customer Connection: Foster a culture of caring and camaraderie, focusing on customer relationships and operational excellence. Infuse coaching moments to enhance selling behaviors.
  2. Champion Talent Discovery: Seek out and network with exceptional external talent. Collaborate with the Store Manager on hiring passionate individuals to create top-notch customer experiences.
  3. Ace Retail Operations & Support Staffing Levels: Manage daily operations, including pricing, shipping, inventory, and staffing, ensuring the store runs smoothly.
  4. Leverage Insights to Deliver Results: Drive sales and continually improve results by applying insights and observations, taking accountability for your goals.
  5. Be a Culture Builder: Promote diversity and inclusivity, maintain a positive environment, and lead by example to increase retention and performance.
  6. Be our Store Manager’s Right Hand: Step into the Store Manager’s role when needed, ensuring compliance, developing internal talent, and maintaining high standards.

Preferred Qualifications & Education
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • At least 1 year of retail sales experience.

Physical Requirements & Environment
