What You'll Be Doing

• Inspire the Customer Connection: lead associates with integrity and drive, focusing on customer relationships, operational excellence, and flawless delivery of both. Infuse coaching moments for selling behaviors behind our Customer Connection.
• Champion Talent Discovery: actively seek out exceptional external talent, collaborating with the Store Manager to interview and hire individuals passionate about creating top-notch customer experiences.
• Ace Retail Operations & Support Staffing Levels: manage retail operations fundamentals (pricing, shipping processing, inventory) and support staffing levels set by the Store Manager, considering availability, peak days, and seasonal hiring needs.
• Leverage Insights to Deliver Results: drive sales and use insights to continually improve location performance in partnership with the Store Manager.
• Be a Culture Builder: promote diversity and inclusivity, maintain a positive mindset, and uplift others to improve retention and performance.
• Be our Store Manager’s Right Hand: when the Store Manager is away, step into leadership, ensure compliance with programs, train and develop internal talent in partnership with the Store Manager.

Preferred Qualifications & Education

• Has a High School Diploma/GED.
• At least 1 year of sales experience (retail preferred).
• Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training people.
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate, and communicate positively with store associates.
• Ability to train, coach and develop associates to provide an engaging customer experience and execute operational tasks.
• Exercises independent judgment partnering with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Strong problem solving, decision making, and financial analysis skills.
• Advanced working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Flexible schedule availability including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
• Basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements and/or Environment

• Regularly lift up to 40 lbs with appropriate safety techniques.
• Frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Mobility on the sales floor for extended periods.
