Job summary

SmartStop Self Storage in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for Store #6027. The position offers no night shifts, a daytime schedule, and a starting wage of $16.50 per hour plus bonus. You will manage leasing, transactions, maintenance, and customer service while coordinating with other SmartStop locations as needed.

We value detail orientation, teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude. A background check is required and travel to nearby locations may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rental agreements
• Handle monetary transactions and banking activities
• Cleaning of vacated units and general cleaning of the property
• Promotes and sells self-storage solutions to potential customers
• Light maintenance
• Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid Driver's License, and current auto insurance
• Willingness to travel to other SmartStop locations in Warren, & Troy as needed for coverage. Mileage and travel time will be paid.
• The position requires a background check
• Other duties as assigned by the Company
