Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties including walking, standing, stooping and lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling; support loss prevention.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Supervise and develop Store Associates; promote a safe, respectful environment.
• Ensure policies and safety guidelines are followed; maintain professional interactions.
• Other duties as assigned.
