Parkland Corporation owns and operates Carl's Jr., a leading international fuel supplier, convenience store operator, and community enabler serving customers across 26 countries. The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring smooth store performance.

Responsibilities
  • Perform management duties in the absence of the Store Manager
  • Provide high-quality customer service
  • Prepare food & drinks, maintain cleanliness, and ensure health code compliance
  • Maintain equipment and high-margin products, monitor refrigeration
  • Supervise and prioritize store personnel tasks
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training staff
  • Uphold brand standards and manage inventory
Requirements
  • At least one year of experience in convenience store, restaurant, or retail
  • Management experience
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Capacity to work extended shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Obtain food handler's permit within 30 days of hire
