Position Summary

Assistant Managers play a key role in exceeding customer expectations, providing exceptional service, and demonstrating passion for our brand. They work closely with the Store Manager to lead a team focused on achieving sales targets, supporting recruitment, talent development, and performance management.

Responsibilities
Customer Experience
  • Greet and assist every customer; coach associates in real-time.
  • Maintain product knowledge and promote brand loyalty through promotions and value explanations.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to uphold brand standards and customer service expectations.
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience, resolving concerns promptly and exceeding expectations.
Commitment to Efficiency
  • Oversee merchandising execution and collaborate on new arrivals.
  • Enforce company policies, conduct loss prevention training, and coach staff.
  • Create schedules aligned with payroll and budget strategies; assist in expense and inventory oversight.
  • Contribute to business analysis and communicate insights to the Store Manager.
Associate Morale
  • Recruit, onboard, and evaluate top talent.
  • Motivate staff to meet sales goals and uphold brand standards.
  • Model professional behavior, recognize achievements, and support team development.
  • Foster an inclusive environment, seek feedback, and support innovation.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of retail management experience.
  • Bachelor’s/Associate degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and overnight shifts; some travel may be necessary.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 20 pounds for extended periods.
