Harvest Loop is hiring a Store Manager to lead our Logan Square stores.

In-Person Role - Hiring on Both Locations

Armitage: 2901 W Armitage Ave, Chicago, IL, USA 60647

Partner with the Store Manager on daily operations, scheduling, and team development.

Right hand to the Store Manager. You will run the floor when they are off, lead a shift of 6 to 10, and grow into a Store Manager seat when you are ready and a seat opens. This is the seat for someone ready to step up and ready to learn how a modern, tech-forward grocery actually runs.

What you will do

• Manage opening and closing procedures and cash handling.
• Oversee receiving, stocking, and inventory.
• Handle customer service issues. Keep the store standards high.
• Build associate schedules and manage shift coverage.
• Step in as Manager-on-Duty when the Store Manager is off.
• Lead, motivate, and supervise associates to hit service and sales goals.
• Help onboard, train, and develop the team.
• Support hiring. Interviews and first-week onboarding.
• Run cash handling, cashiering, and end-of-shift financial work.
• Implement merchandising and promotional activities.
• Communicate clearly with staff, customers, and vendors.

What you will bring

• 2+ years of grocery or retail supervisory experience.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Customer-service focus and real problem-solving instincts.
• Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with POS, cash handling, and basic retail math.
• Comfort with inventory management and merchandising.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

What success looks like in 90 days

• You can confidently run a full shift as Manager-on-Duty without needing the Store Manager on call.
• You have built schedules that balance coverage and labor cost, and the team trusts how shifts get assigned.
• You are the go-to person for at least one operational area (receiving, front end, or merchandising) and the Store Manager has handed it off to you.
