Job summary

Global Partners LP in Warren, MA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the general manager in daily operations while upholding company policies. The ASM will help manage staff, cash handling, inventory, and safety standards to ensure a welcoming, efficient store.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt employees.
• Monitors shift cash handling and inventory.
• Investigate shortages/overages and inventory variances as described.
• Maintain business records and cashier accountability sheets.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll and other admin duties per policy.
• Manage cash management procedures including deposits and changes.
• Maintain Grand Opening readiness and store image standards.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, safety and security.
• Report issues to management and coordinate gasoline deliveries.
• Engage in promotional initiatives and guest service excellence.
• Perform duties per Company Handbook and other tasks assigned.
• Engage in allcompany promotional initiatives.
• Promotes a high level ofguestservice.
• Perform duties as required by company policies and procedures (encompasses CompanyHandbook)and any other duties assigned by your General Manager/ Territory Manager.

Job Summary

The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) is responsible for assisting the general manager with the management of day-to-day operations of the store, while adhering to Global Partner's policies and procedures. Job Description

• Complete required daily accounting paperwork and transmit by deadline.
• Supervise, develop, train and discipline non-exempt (hourly) employees, holding them accountable for upholding operational standards.
• Monitors shift cash handling and inventory.
• Assists in investigations of shortages/overages of $100 per month or less as well as inventory variations of .5% of sales or less.
• Maintains business records, review cashier accountability sheets and records prescribed by the General Manager and or Territory Manager.
• Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and/or other administrative dutiesas requested, adhering to all Global Partner's cash control policies.
• Manage cash management procedures including bank deposits and change orders.
• MaintainGrandOpening ReadyStandards–According to Global Partner's store image standards.
• Maintains highlevels of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensures store is secure and safe; complieswith all safety and environmental guidelines.
• Report any issues to proper authority as well as management.
• Ensure adequate gasoline levels as well as coordinate gasoline deliveries.
• Engage in allcompany promotional initiatives.
• Promotes a high level ofguestservice.
• Perform duties as required by company policies and procedures (encompasses CompanyHandbook)and any other duties assigned by your General Manager/ Territory Manager.

Additional Job Description

• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends and or holidays.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Abilityto communicate, count, read, and write accurately.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures,i.e.,outside, cooler,etc.
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb latter/stairs and lift up to 25lbs.during a shift.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Vocational or Technical Education High School Diploma or equivalent.

Pay Range

$19.42 - $22.63 The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
