Job description

The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) is responsible for assisting the general manager with the management of day-to-day store operations, while adhering to Global Partner's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Complete daily accounting paperwork and transmit it by deadline.
  • Supervise, develop, train, and discipline non-exempt (hourly) employees, ensuring operational standards are upheld.
  • Monitor shift cash handling and inventory; assist in investigations of shortages/overages of $100 or less and inventory variations of 0.5% of sales or less.
  • Maintain business records and review cashier accountability sheets.
  • Perform banking, invoicing, payroll, and other administrative duties per company policies.
  • Manage cash procedures, including deposits and change orders.
  • Maintain store standards, cleanliness, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure proper gasoline levels and coordinate deliveries.
  • Engage in promotional activities and community support initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Availability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
  • Basic computer skills and reliable transportation with a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in various temperatures and perform physical tasks up to 25 lbs.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
Education
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Wage: $18-$19 per hour.
