Job Description

The Assistant Store Manager manages daily service, sales, and operational objectives, leading a team to deepen customer relationships through TD’s model of convenience, sales, advice, and personalized experience. This role requires minimal supervision and decision-making on daily work and customer interactions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to achieve customer and store performance goals.
  • Provide daily leadership, ensuring effective delivery of services and advice within compliance guidelines.
  • Oversee complex sales activities involving multiple systems and partners.
  • Apply financial knowledge and product expertise to deliver consultative advice, build trust, and support customer financial empowerment.
  • Drive advice capabilities through coaching, observation, and communication.
  • Stay informed on local market trends to support advice and recommendations.
  • Handle high-risk issues and determine appropriate resolutions.
  • Coach team on advice strategies and product knowledge.
  • Set work direction and ensure achievement of objectives.
  • Deliver end-to-end advice and support customer financial goals.
  • Identify sales opportunities and contribute to business growth.
  • Participate in community events and promote the TD brand.
  • Manage customer outreach activities, including lead management and appointments.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience in customer service or sales.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Operational and sales management skills.
  • Knowledge of banking products preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage priorities and demonstrate organizational skills.
  • Previous lending experience and Notary License are advantages.
  • Must maintain active NMLS registration.
Customer and Shareholder Accountabilities

Focus on delivering excellent customer service, attracting and retaining customers, managing team performance, ensuring operational compliance, and supporting business growth.

Physical and Travel Requirements

Includes occasional travel, sedentary work, multitasking, and physical activities such as sitting, standing, walking, and lifting under 25 lbs.
