Position Overview

Provide a well-merchandised and stocked store by supervising and supporting Team Members in inventory management. Lead operational processes to drive sales and profits while safeguarding assets. Assist in managing a team to deliver a customer-centric shopping experience.

Major Responsibilities
  1. Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales, profit, and KPI goals; manage the team to meet their KPIs.
  2. Ensure compliance with SOPs, company policies, and legal requirements; uphold store standards and results.
  3. Hire, train, evaluate, and develop Team Members and Department Managers for growth.
  4. Coach team members and handle performance management and disciplinary actions as needed.
  5. Assist with workload planning, scheduling, and supervising store operations, including time-off approvals.
  6. Manage freight flow, inventory processes, planogram execution, and merchandise operations, including omni-channel.
  7. Oversee shrink reduction and safety programs.
  8. Maintain visual merchandising standards and execute seasonal layouts.
  9. Promote a positive, respectful work environment and serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).
Additional Duties

Other responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Experience
  • Retail management leadership experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing for long periods, moving throughout the store, bending, lifting, reaching, and stretching.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and access high shelves with equipment.
Work Environment
  • Public retail setting with climate-controlled areas and some outdoor work. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
