Job description

Store - RENO, NV

Provide a well merchandised and well in-stock store by supervising, leading, and supporting Team Members in implementing inventory management processes. Lead operational activities to deliver sales and profits while safeguarding assets. Assist in supervising and leading a team of trained Team Members to ensure a customer-centric shopping experience.

Major Activities

  1. Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales, profit, and other KPIs aligned with performance objectives; manage the store team to meet role KPIs.
  2. Support Store Manager in ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs for compliance with laws and standards; oversee store conditions and results.
  3. Hire, train, evaluate, and develop Team Members and Department Managers for advancement; utilize leadership competencies for personal development.
  4. Coach Team Members and manage performance and disciplinary processes as needed.
  5. Assist with workload planning, scheduling, and store operations, including staffing, vacation, and time-off approvals.
  6. Manage freight flow processes to ensure standards are followed.
  7. Oversee inventory management and planogram (POG) execution.
  8. Lead merchandise operations, including omni-channel initiatives.
  9. Manage shrinkage and safety programs.
  10. Oversee visual merchandising standards and seasonal layouts.
  11. Promote a positive, respectful environment; serve as a role model and uphold company values.
  12. Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD).

Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience

  • Retail management leadership experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Mobility throughout the store.
  • Regular bending, lifting, reaching, and stretching.
  • Lifting heavy items and accessing high shelves with equipment.

  • Work in a retail environment supervising Team Members and assisting customers; climate-controlled areas; some outdoor work; includes nights, weekends, and early mornings.
