About the Role

As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in keeping our sales floor running smoothly. From coaching team members to ensuring compliance and stepping in wherever needed, you'll set the standard for professionalism, customer service, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

On a typical day, you may:

  • Direct and oversee sales floor operations from opening through closing

  • Train, coach, and mentor employees on service standards, policies, and procedures

  • Create and manage daily lunch and break schedules to ensure consistent coverage

  • Delegate tasks, support staff, and maintain an organized and productive sales floor

  • Monitor performance and assist with coaching or corrective actions

  • Address customer and employee concerns quickly, fairly, and professionally

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and state cannabis regulations

  • Step into any sales floor role as needed to maintain service levels

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a strong communicator and natural leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and balances team leadership with hands‑on support. The ideal candidate is:

  • Experienced in cannabis retail leadership (1+ year preferred)

  • Skilled at motivating and guiding staff while modeling professionalism

  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and adaptable under pressure

  • Committed to providing exceptional customer service

  • Confident in compliance, company policies, and operational standards

What You'll Need
  • High School Diploma or GED required (Associate's degree in Business Management preferred)

  • At least one year of supervisory experience in cannabis retail preferred

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs

  • Must meet all state requirements for cannabis employment (if applicable)
