General Summary

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will help provide exceptional service to our customers and support the Store Manager in daily store operations. Responsibilities include maintaining inventories, store appearance, and completing daily paperwork.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers positively, resolving inquiries and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and provide excellent customer service.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates on operating practices.
• Assist with unloading merchandise, organizing stock, and transferring stock from the stockroom.
• Support ordering, record keeping, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Support loss prevention efforts.
• Act in management capacity during the Store Manager's absence.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to interpret operational directives.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, and up to 55 lbs occasionally, with frequent walking, standing, and other physical activities.
• Flexible full-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Skills: Customer focus, potential development, results-driven, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management.
