Job Description:

The Assistant Store Manager (ASM) is responsible for assisting the general manager with the management of day-to-day store operations, while adhering to Global Partner's policies and procedures.

Global Partners LP has been delivering energy to communities for over 90 years.   • Supervise, develop, train, and discipline hourly employees, ensuring operational standards are upheld.
  • Monitor shift cash handling and inventory; assist in investigations of shortages/overages and inventory variations.
  • Maintain business records, review cashier accountability, and manage administrative duties like banking, invoicing, and payroll.
  • Manage cash procedures, store security, cleanliness, and safety compliance.
  • Coordinate gasoline levels and deliveries.
  • Engage in promotional initiatives and ensure high guest service standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work in various temperatures and physical activities like reaching, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Access to all store areas.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
Education
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
