Job summary

Gil's is seeking a motivated Assistant Store Manager to help lead our retail store team alongside the store manager, delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in Ville Platte, Louisiana. This role focuses on developing staff, maintaining store standards, and executing day-to-day operations.

You will assist with scheduling, training, inventory control, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the manager in day-to-day store operations, including training and supervising store employees.
• Assisting store manager in controlling all controllable expenses including labor, inventory levels, cash, money orders, lottery, inventory controls and shortages.
• Maintaining all policies such as uniform, cash, food safety etc.
• Maintaining a clean store image and professional and friendly workplace
